My Bookish Month of December 2018

Hello and welcome to my monthly overview! It seems it has been a very productive month! Having some days off and not feeling very well (a.k.a. a lot of time spent under the blankie on the sofa) have obviously been good for my reading 😁Click on the links to read my review or comment if you want to know more about any of the others! As you can see, there are still lots of reviews to come, but I need some more time to polish them up a little.

What I read (full-length novels)

A Step Away by G. Randy Kasten (stay tuned for the book blitz with a giveaway at the end of January!)

The Second Wife by Sheryl Browne (review to follow)

The Rumour by Lesley Kara (review to follow)

The Stranger Diaries by Elly Griffiths (review to follow)

Ginger Snapped by Chloe Sunstone (review to follow - I'm on the book tour mid January)

Call Me Star Girl by Louise Beech (review to follow)

The Other Twin by L.V. Hay

What I read (short stories / novellas)

The Haunting of Cedar House by Lydia Darcy

What I listened to

Stephen Fry’s Victorian Secrets (episodes 9, 11 & 12)

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (Harry Potter #1) by J.K. Rowling

Elevation by Stephen King

Portraits of the Dead (DI Gravel #1) by John Nicholl

And my book of the month is...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Call me Star Girl by Louise Beech ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Well of course it is! I didn't include it in my Best of 2018 list because it's not out yet, but keep your eyes peeled for this one in the new year! I will be posting a review when the time comes, obviously, but I can tell you now: it's total amazeballs and I will reread it next year just so I can put it in my Best of 2019 (and also because it's total amazeballs, duh).
